V8's and Guiness

Hello again!

Well its it's been a pretty crazy few weeks for the Fuel Girls, as while I was in Paris, the rest of the posse were ripping up Belfast and Vienna having been reunited with the Masters Of Dirt crew. Helen has been really putting the buggy through its paces now that we have had a seat welded to the top of it so Little Susie can sit there fireing t-shirts, freebies and small explosives into the crowd. From what they tell me they were loving it.

After MOD they climbed straight into the Warrior and drove to Liverpool for Revoloutions 1st Birthday. This is the second time we have performed at this night and the girls were mega excited about tearing the place apart and meeting up with the fans we had made first time round. All I can say is, Ive seen the pictures, and fuck it looks messy!

By Friday morning we were up early doing a press call for some Irish papers with all of the shit hot custom bikes at the show. We really love doing the Bike shows, it's a completely different atmosphere and all the guys are so fucking hard core. That afternoon we started the first of three days worth of stage shows on our trusty car catwalk. The highlight of each show was Sahar being brought onto stage on the back of a 5.6 litre V8 bike to Disposable Teens! Get in. This bike was fucking crazy, the engine is bigger then the V8 in the Capri and just sounded fucking sexual!

Other then doing the shows we had a pretty chilled one, no crazy partys and limiting ourselves to just a few pints of Guiness (even a Fuel Girls gotta detox sometimes!). Me and Sahar took sometime out from the shows to watch a display team called the purple helmets who are essentially a bunch of drunk guys doing weird stuff on bikes. It certainly got our approval! We also helped out Mattie Griffin with his bike stunt show as he came at us full throttle on a Suzuki 600, which was fun!

We all flew home Monday afternoon actually dreading a few days off. Life on the road becomes pretty adictive and in the words of Lemmy "People ask me if I've ever been tempted to settle down, but I'm just a road rat. I like being on the move.".

So when I got home I drowned my sorrows with my best friends Ami, Steve and Paul before getting on the Phone to have a chat with Neil from NTS Auto who is currently working on the Capri. I can tell you, I have never been so thankful for a persons existance! He has now got her all wired up and cranking but the spark has been pretty week so tomorow he is gonna clean up the points and then have another go at fireing her up, fingers crossed! He has promised to call me up and leave me a voice message of her running which I think will probably make me cry in all honestly, it's been to long since I heard my baby with some life in her! So after that all that's left is to mount the rad and my powersteering pump and were are 95% there. Shit man I am so excited I can hardly wait, it makes my palms sweaty just thinking about it.

Which is a good point to leave you be I guess. Tomorrow we are at a secret showing of Watchmen where we are pretending to be seedy strippers.... haha. Then on Saturday it's off to Middlesbrough to Empire for a crazy bar show. I will keep you updated!

stay safe
